The historical town with fascinating baroque chateau built in the end of the 17th century on the gothic foundations. Its interiors are decorated with baroque paintings and rich stuccos. Art gallery contains valuable collections of Europe paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries, for example works of Tizian, van Dick, Bassano. The chateau, together with the Garden Below the Chateau and the Mannerist Flower Garden has been entered into the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritige in 1998. The city centre is the historical reservation. In the main square we can find old burgess houses with arcades and the renaissance Town Hall from 1611.
